 | About the Authors, Ken Hill and Roy Osborne
Ken Hill is a senior research scientist at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney, and has been studying the cycads of Australia and Asia for 15 years. He has published numerous scientific papers on cycads and other plants, conducted many field study expeditions in Australia and eastern Asia, and has recognised and named more than 50 new species of cycads.
Roy Osborne has been studying, and growing, cycads in Africa and Australia for more than 20 years. Now living in Brisbane, Queensland, he has published more than 100 scientific papers and has participated in major international conferences on cycad biology.
